Don't Blink Poster

This poster was created for a class project with two main constraints: it had to fit within a chosen theme and incorporate non-digital typography. I chose the theme of dread for this poster. I created the “Don’t Blink” text by sweeping a toothbrush through ink to form the lettering by hand. By flicking ink across the page to create a spatter effect, I reinforced the unsettling tone of the piece.

After photographing the physical artwork, I imported it into Adobe Photoshop to add color and texture. The background image is a photograph of my own eye, edited in Adobe Lightroom to emphasize the intricate details within the iris. To complete the poster, I added halftone textures, grain, and additional effects to give the final composition a detailed movie poster aesthetic.
