Seattle Metals Guild 2026 Symposium
This capstone project focused on designing promotional materials and a website for the Seattle Metals Guild Symposium. Working in collaboration with a representative from the guild, our team was tasked with creating a Squarespace website and a series of supporting promotional graphics that aligned with the organization’s existing branding guidelines.
Our team of six was divided into two groups. Three students focused on the website while three of us developed the visual campaign assets. After exploring multiple design directions, the design group chose a Swiss-inspired design system that emphasized clean typography, strong structure, and a modern aesthetic that complemented the featured artwork.
The first pieces shown are a collaborative postcard design created by Savannah Madison, Gerra Shock, and myself. I also designed an email graphic, a social media reminder post, and an informational poster that will be displayed in schools throughout the Seattle area. The poster currently includes placeholder text for event details that are still being finalized by the symposium organizers. To maintain consistency across all materials, our graphics team was able to develop a comprehensive style guide that established a unified visual system for the project.
